Reading up some more and cats are very sensitive to fumes from even odourless mineral spirits, which are also really flammable… I could try to work outside but bubs would fuss and I’m still not confident in the disposal issue.
Perhaps I should first just use paint from the tube and try cleaning brushes with vegetable oil followed by soap and water.
And find somewhere safe to keep these flammable bottles in Summer :/ /paranoid
Yeah, my anxiety is just going crazy. Stupid because I used to use turps to clean brushes back when I stripped and repainted furniture (when I was more able bodied) and nothing happened but I don’t like taking chances.
I wish I had a shed with an extraction fan, or enough room to paint outside with Melbcat in a big comfortable cat run nearby

work near the kitchen suction fan, keep windows open if you can
