4U Classic Rock for commercial free classic rock.
Soma.fm mission control, defcon, groove salad are great, no ads free listener supported rusty hodge is awesome
Radiostationnet.com has a bunch of police, fire, EMS, etc public scanners/radios
- Bagel Radio https://www.bagelradio.com/ for all things fuzzy
- 9128 https://www.9128.live/ electronic, usually quieter stuff.
- LYL https://lyl.live/ experimental, rare, off the beaten path, very much depends on the DJ
- NTS Live & infinite mixtapes https://www.nts.live/
- Vinyl Stacks Uncool http://cmvs.uncool.club:2121/vinyl-stacks
And recently also 12XU https://onetwoxu.de/radio/ noise, hardcore, anti-relaxation, sometimes lo-fi
SomaFM obviously, and also Radio Paradise: https://radioparadise.com/listen/channels/main-mix (Wikipedia: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Radio_Paradise)
Mine are:
- SomaFM
- Kiosk Radio - great station from Brussels, often dancey and experimental
- Dublab - Los Angeles station with eclectic programming
- The Lot Radio - NYC based dance music radio, some big names
- NTS
A lot of SomaFM’s stations, definitely
But also https://labr.online/ for house music.and just for the irony since I am a geologist
+1 for dublab, they also have a German affiliate dublab.de
And WeFunk is just what I’ve been looking for.
WeFunk has a strategic arsenal sized backlog of funk shows, it is awesome.
You shouldn’t sleep on WNCW. If you like country, classic rock, folk, jazz, and bluegrass there is nothing better.
Oh, and for those turned off by “country”, or “classic rock”, they’re not playing the crap on 'ya dad’s radio station.
I can fuck with some Johnny Cash but I’m not into the modern country (afaik)
They are an actual radio station but you can stream it. They have an app too. Great way to find new music!
SexFM before it got taken down.
