I bought a new moka pot recently online. Brand name but it’s having some issues after a week or two - lots of loss of water through the pressure outlet… None of my pots have ever done this so I’m assuming there’s a fault… Can’t seem to figure out a way to tighten anything… Fixable or no do you think?
Yeah, looks like a valve problem as it should only steam out of there when the pressure is too much.
Have you tried it with less coffee or a coarser grind just to make sure it isn’t over filled? Same with making sure the water doesn’t go above the valve

Valve looks to be dodgy. I’d get. Replacement if possible. Or buy a new valve and try to replace that bit yourself.
Just looked at valve prices and they’re half the cost of a new pot…
Perhaps seek a new pot then.
You said new? Warranty?
Hmm doesn’t sound normal, can you ask for a warranty replacement?
