Gardening sesh complete. Green bin full!

I have a sore finger from pressing the aerogard button so much lol. 300g went a long way though so might be cheaper than I thought.

Interesting thing from pulling the oxalis that I sprayed Monday evening is a lot of the bulbs came up with it so that was a surprise. Almost like they were stuck on more but might be imagining things.

    Now it’s a pizza time.

Not to dampen your fiery spirits, but I’m guessing you know about how oxalis have the secret little bulbils that snap off and stay in the soil after you pull out the main bulb…? and sometimes there can be bulbs up to 20cm below the surface… I used to be so annoyed at how I thought I’d gotten rid of the bulbs only for them all to come back again… but to be fair I wasn’t treating them with the angel of death.

I just picked the weeds as best I could. I might not have killed it, there will be bulbs but it’s now very very sick. I’ll remove the weeds again when they show up.

:( I do. There’d be more than thousands down there heh. Really hoping the mist of ruination get transported but yea, big doubts about that. At least I’m not being bitten by insects running the garden lol.

      yay, death to oxalis

I continued cutting back a very over grown bush, pulled some weeds and got rid of a dead pot plant

Really really good final Medicare-subsidised session with psych today - lifted a lot of the irritation and frustration I’ve been feeling over the last two weeks just getting some things off my chest and talking about the importance of my trip away to someone who knows why.

Riding on the wave of goodness I decided to actually read my emails rather than just mark them all as read and what do you know, it’s National Tree Day on Sunday and there’s heaps of planting events all over town. The weather might be frightful but I think that’s exactly what I need, getting out in nature, working with my hands alongside others for something good. The hot shower afterwards will feel very earned 😁 that’s my Sunday sorted!

I have no idea if my mum is doing it or if a bad actor is doing it, but I keep getting emails from Apple support addressed to my mum to saying

"We have reviewed your request, and access to your account (my email @gmail.com) has been denied.

    Sincerely,

    Apple"

It looks legit, the email it’s from looks legit, and I suspect it’s because a long time ago I’d helped my mum set up her phone and she didn’t have an email at the time. But I don’t know how to give it back to her or whatever, there’s nothing actionable in the email, and it’s giving me a stress headache looking at emails addressed to mum. It’s making me feel really anxious, that to resolve this I might have to break my no-contact.

    Fuuuuuuuck

If this is distressing you think about using a new account for yourself, transferring email to the new one and deleting the old email account

yes, I know it’s a pain but it might be the easiest way

and it will cut the link to you

It would be harder tbh, the email I used is my main one I use for important stuff. I’m just going to ignore them and have Gmail send them to a junk folder

Can you put a different email on there? It might be possible to change it

If no access you could maybe report it hacked and request it to be closed

      Don’t do it

Can you just like close the account? Otherwise I’d remove any payment methods and personal information and set a really strong password (with 2 factor) and ignore

Have you checked with your mum if she’s trying to access the account and is maybe getting the PW wrong? If not, then it’s a hack attempt.

The wait for this holiday is driving me nuts. Three more sleeps. I’ve been looking up menus for all of the restaurants close to the hotel to keep myself entertained.

Things are hard right now. There’s crappy stuff going on I probably won’t post but I also recently found out an old family friend has passed.

Life is incredibly heavy so other than pressing chores and cuddling/tending to Melbcat I’m mostly sleeping life away.

Edit: Melbcat is fine to my knowledge, I haven’t heard back about her nose but she’s acting okay and pretty much healthy. May she remain so. It’s just everything else.

I blew my nose and one of my ears ended up getting blocked.

I’m not feeling too good after that.

I’ve also been yawning and swallowing to try and unblock it, i’ll give the wiggle a try as well.

I started to get all dizzy and stuff from it initially when it got blocked.

Can you rumble your ears? Try self massage for eustachian dysfunction or relieving pressure from ear infections?

YouTube has good videos on that but be very careful not to follow ones from chiropractors as they can be dangerous (ie. don’t be pulling at your neck)

Edit: if it’s a sinus infection or ear infection it’s probably doctor time

I’m all good now, it managed to get better eventually and I have my balance back now.

Thankfully not an infection but I think I have a minor cold.

Why yes leadership team, the team is under performing because we are missing 3 full time experienced staff and replacing them with 2 beginners isn’t making up the difference.
