just thinking of my fam and friends in America 😭

I wonder if they think of this song, don’t you forget about me https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CdqoNKCCt7A

they are on my mind more than ever , and it’s not that I miss them, I do, this is so much more, this is dread

how could I not worry , I think anyone who isn’t worried doesn’t know history and isn’t paying attention

even those who might not be effected will still be living in that horrible political atmosphere

Sunday Scaries hit me so hard that I managed to talk myself out of going to work today. Beach walk and job hunting is on the agenda!

Ted has been having a great time watching dragonflies in the back yard, he’s even tried to catch some

    I took a short video 😺

Can’t sleep. Too much on my mind. Apart from standard insomnia anyways.

I wonder what the COO will be like. The role is well paying, but who knows what baggage it will come with.

I saw some very young maggies (who seemed interested and one sang to me) but they were otherwise a little bit skittish… I think they’re the new babies. But despite the grey baby feathers they were pretty big and spring has barely started?

I’m worried for the magpies nesting in my neighbours tree. So windy today, I hope they are ok.

I gave kitty meds and fell right back asleep for like 5 hours without even having a drink. So dry. 🌵🐪🏜️

I’m taking a Covid test and then having some fluids

I woke up at 6am, and was like “whyyyy” until I remembered it is 8am in Melbourne lol.

Now it’s 9am here and I’m sitting outside in the sun having a coffee.

Turns out the role is 2 hours travel each direction. They have an office in Southbank but the main role is much further away.

    More applications incoming!

God, that sucks. It’s like those big companies where you don’t know if the job is at the location close to you or the head office in god knows where

It was in Mulgrave. That’s about an hour drive in normal time or 90 mins peak time.

No point going to Mulgrave unless you live nearby. I worked for the CSIRO based there for a bit and they’re probably the only exception
