Dude, in Power, Power Book II: Ghost, Empire, Succession, even in some K-dramas about wealthy people, they’re wearing designer stuff in every episode—even in their casual streetwear, hell, even their nightclothes! Is this unrealistic, or do rich people actually have ALL high-end designer clothes? Do some have shirts from Walmart or something?
Rich people have clothes made for them. People wanting to look rich wear designer clothing.
Some rich people, sure. Not all of them. Some will buy their bargain bulk pack of underwear at Macy’s or Dillard’s.
Depends where you draw the line of rich people.
At some level of rich you will stop buying branded clothes and star getting bespoke/fitted clothing
No. I’ve tried, but I look completely out of place in designer anything.
EDIT: The truth is that designer clothes are typically a poorly constructed waste of money, unless appearances are everything, and your money needs to be “seen” to be made.
All things are designed by someone.
I’d like to talk to whoever designed the human body. The decision to put an amusement park right next to a toxic waste pit is upsetting to say the least.

They don’t have any reason to ever go to somewhere like Target or Forever 21. They only go into high end stores. Now they may occasionally see something in the high end stores that isn’t $400, but what anything costs is literally irrelevant to them. That’s assuming it’s the kind of wealthy person that even bothers to pick their own clothes versus having someone else do it.
With as much detail as you require, i.e. what they wear in bed at night, this question is nearly impossible to answer. As there is not a single person alive that has observed all rich people while they’re catching some zzz’s. It also hinges on the definition of rich.
Logically, the answer to your question is probably no. There will be a few rich people who wear non-designer clothes. But in my estimation they will be a minority. If you have the means, the show-off appeal or the perceived higher quality of the more expensive stuff is probably enough to fill your wardrobe over time. Also, rich people get a lot of shit for free.
